Well, here I go again, trying to describe what makes me do what I do creatively — what makes me use what I use as inspiration.
Everything/ anything/ whatever can inspire me or inhibit me.
Sometimes they are the same. Sometimes they are coming from good & happy places, sometimes from frustration and anger.
Sometimes from fear & loathing.
I save, collect and maybe even hoard, just in case I can use the object/ fragment as inspiration later or even physically incorporate it.
These days I mostly make collages, installations and performance works so I need a lot of diverse stuff and its becoming a problem I confess since I’m running out of space and as soon as I discard something, I’m sure to need it.
The thing is, I dont just make art but I also curate exhibitions of art from recycled materials, continue to make The Endless Junkmail Scroll & run a Chelsea gallery as well as write poetry & fantasize about – oh, I'll tell you more when we get to know each other better. Feel free to make contact...
