Carol Quint"My work is grounded in archaic and mythological imagery that
elicits recognition and response on a primitive
level. My images are a culmination of a process that involves creating,
destroying, and reconstructing. I enjoy careful preparation and painstaking
craftsmanship in the execution of my work. I
build sculpture and create a setting that will serve as the focus for
photographic images. The finished pieces are printed on handmade emuslsion
coated canvas and BFK Rives. The photographs
are in themselves artifacts, evidence of my efforts, now in the past.
The content and function of these works reflect both a sense of time
