This exhibit represents the work of a cross-section of design
students from several of CUNY's colleges. Many of these students
are originally from other countries such as: Mexico, Brazil,
China, Japan, India, Sri Lanka, Bolivia, and more. I feel these
works on one level represent the "global village" and
reveal the complexity of the cross referencing of time and place
through a double lens of pop culture and traditional culture.
