Gary Spradling’s Statement
Transitions/ passages from one state, stage, or place to another.
“Transitions” is an exhibition of my work that documents the passing of states of my mind and body over the years. The work demonstrates my reaction to the world based on different stimuli and environments. I have digested information from experiences and travels all over the world, filtered it through my artistic vision and created a wide range of art works that reflect theses diverse experiences. More recent work reveals experiences incurred during my current and unending battle with ALS-Lou Gerhigs’s disease.’
