Yumiko Nolan Statement

I have always been intrigued by Japanese tattoos. The designs and elements bring out a simplified beauty, yet they stimulate my imagination and give me a joyful experience. The Cherry Blossom Swirl is my favorite theme. It makes a whimsical match with any living organism waiting to be evolved.

Sanae Maeda Statement

(Series “Believing Is Seeing”)

My belief is made from intuition and life experiences.

Whatever phenomena I see around me, surely I feel that something is missing as if a curtain is covering it, or the spider’s nest is wrapped between my retina and brain. I can see it directly but I don’t see its truth. In this series I just follow my uncertain thought.
