The Prince had just finished dinner at Peter Luger’s Steakhouse across from the WAH Center around 9 P.M. while the gathering of artists and friends of the WAH Center eagerly awaited his arrival. Members of the Danish Press were also in attendance and were hoping to get some comment from him on the expected announcement of his engagement to be married. The Danish Consulate, however kept the press from asking any questions directly of the Prince, since the evening was meant to be informal and relaxed.

The Crown Prince is a handsome young man much adored by the ladies. Furthermore he had a keen interest in art in all of its forms.

After viewing the works of the visual artists, the Prince and guests went upstairs to the main gallery to watch a series of short performances by wonderful Danish musicians, dancers and composers.

Following the performances, the Prince and guests returned to the Grand Reception hall for drinks for the next couple of hours. The Prince being an excellent and charming fellow talked with everyone. The evening was joyous and relaxed.

It is reported that after the reception, the Prince enjoyed an evening on the town at various spots in Williamsburg including Galapagos.
