Heungmo Kim has had many shows at major galleries and museums including the Vorpal Gallery in San Francisco, the Anderson Fine Art Center, Indianapolis and the National Museum of Contemporary Art, Seoul, Korea. His work is in the collections of National Museum of Contemporary Art, Seoul, Korea, The Kumho Museum of Modern Art, Seoul, Korea, and in many private collection. His work has been reviewed in The New York Times by Phylis Braff, The Indianapolis Star, and the Joong Ang Daily, among others. He was a professor at Kyunghee University College of Fine Art, Professor, 1998-2006.

Heungmo Kim says of his work "I tried to show eternal time and space together with one straight shot. One straight shot, not manipulated, shows a nature as it is."
