The Brooklyn Watercolor Society, now in its 37th year, is pleased to present its first group exhibition in Williamsburg at the WAH Center.
The Society was founded by a group of avid watercolor painters to promote transparent watercolor as a means of artistic expression. The group, all Brooklyn residents, meets several times a year to share ideas, visit museums, and enjoy paintings. Over the years BWS has exhibited at Kingsborough Community College, The Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, the National Arts Club, and St. Joseph's College, to name a few venues among many. In addition to group shows, many members of BWS exhibit individually in various locales.
This exhibition will have over 100 images on view by thirty Brooklyn Watercolor Society members.
The exhibition at the WAHcenter will be on view Saturdays and Sundays, noon to 6:00PM, December 6,7,13,14,20,21,28,29.
There will be an artists' reception December 6, 6:00 to 8:00.
